Dixie Bounces Back Quickly After Whelping Her Last Litter

Updated: Jun 13, 2022

Dixie whelped her last litter on 4/8/2022 and was ready to run in the master hunter stake at the Keystone Retriever Club June 2022 Hunt Test held at Rebel Ridge Farm in Elkton, MD on 6/11/2022 to 6/12/2022. She earned a qualifying score and now has three master hunter qualifying scores. Dixie is amateur trained and handled and didn't start running hunt tests until she was 4-years old when she earned her junior hunter title and then didn't run again until she was seven years old when she earned her senior hunter title. She turned 8-years old on 3/1/2022 and has whelped 5 beautiful litters. The sire for her last litter also ran in the master stake at the same test and also earned a qualifying score. Dixie is done with having puppies and is looking forward to focusing on running more hunt tests in the future. Thanks to God for this wonderful dog and these wonderful experiences. Our thanks also to the Keystone Retriever Club, the judges, the land owners and our wonderful trainers, mentors, and friends Tim and Janel Mumford of Can Do Kennels in Selbyville, DE.
