Last weekend, Dixie and Willow attended their first AKC Hunt text (Neuse River Fall 2021 Hunt Test in Kinston, NC) since August. They both performed well. Willow ran at the Junior Hunter stake and earned a qualifying score which finished her requirements for a Junior Hunter title. Dixie ran at the Master Hunter stake and also earned a qualifying score. This was Dixie's first experience running in a Master Hunter stake and Tom's first experience handling in a Master Hunter stake. We are looking forward to running Dixie and Willow at future AKC Hunt tests. Dixie is going to be bred one last time on her next cycle which is anticipated to be soon. There are four puppies reserved from that litter but we are still taking additional reservations at this time. This is the same breeding (March 2020 litter) that produced Sophie who is owned by Mike and Helen Katinas and who has already earned her Senior Hunter title and the same breeding (November 2020 litter) that produced Willow who just earned her Junior Hunter title and is successfully performing many of the senior elements in training.
