We were very excited to receive a recent update from a Shore Thing Labs family member about Remy who is a 4-year old black female lab from the 2017 Dixie x Major litter. Remy has developed into a great well rounded lab and certainly demonstrates why labs continue to be one of the favorite breeds. Remy is a great family pet and gun dog. She is comfortable and competent working in the field and interacting with children and other family members and friends in the house. She clearly has found herself in a wonderful family and is thriving as a result of the great love and care she receives. She clearly gives back to the family in many ways. Her family sent us the following information and pictures: "Remy is now almost 4.5 years old. The time has certainly flown by with her. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog to be a part of our family as well as a partner for me in the field. I can’t imagine hunting without her at this point and am thankful for the time that we have had together. She has certainly been a great conservation tool finding ducks that would have been otherwise unrecoverable. She’s equally appreciated in the home as our security alarm, vacuum cleaner, and best friend to my children, especially our youngest." We are so proud and happy for Remy and her family. Remy definitely resembles her mother Dixie.
